Apple has finally released the long-awaited iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. If you always wanted water resistance and better battery life on your iPhone, you are going to be happy with the new phones, but if you fancy a headphone jack, then this phone isn’t for you.
These are the most important things you need to know about the iPhone 7 before you buy.
>>Display: The iPhone 7 comes with a 4.7-inch screen, while 7 Plus sports a 5.5-inch display The “HD Retina display” is 25 percent brighter than iPhone 6 Plus. It includes the pressure-sensitive 3D Touch layer that buzzes slightly when you press and hold the screen.
>>New static home button: The home button is now solid state, which means you cannot physically press or click it in. It is pressure-sensitive, including “taptic feedback”, which enable apps to give you three levels of pressure and haptic feedback, like a light or strong buzz.
>>Waterproof: The iPhone 7 have an IP67 rating, which means it is totally protected against dust and can be immersed in water to a depth of 1 metre.
>>Bye -Bye headphone jack: Apple has replaced the headphone jack with new EarPods headphones that connects through the Lightning connector port. You will also get an adaptor in the box.
>>Fresh camera: The iPhone 7 maintains the 12-megapixel camera, but adds a larger aperture — optical image stabilization, that keeps images stable. We do notice that the camera sticks out more from the back. The iPhone 7 Plus has an additional telephoto camera, which together with the standard 12-megapixel wide angle camera offers optical zoom at two times and up to 10 times digital zoom for photos.
>> Front-facing Shooter: The iPhone 7 sports a 7-megapixel front-facing camera compared to 5 megapixels on the iPhone 6S
>>Stereo speakers: An additional speaker joins the iPhone to give you stereo speakers. There is now one at the bottom and one at the top.

>>Faster processor: According to Apple , “The iPhone 7’s new A10 Fusion chip is a 64-bit and quad-core processor is 40 percent faster than last year’s A9 processor. Two cores are high-performance; the other two are “high efficiency,” which means they wil conserve battery while handling tasks. Take-away message: deeper visual graphics, especially with gaming.
