The ability to log in to multiple accounts on Instagram at once has always been notably missing from the app but that has now changed now. With this tip, you can now add an extra account to Instagram on iOS and Android.
To set up , the first thing you need to do is open the Instagram app. The functionality is only available on Instagram version 7.15 and later, so make sure you have updated the app before continuing with the tutorial.
In the Instagram app, head to your Profile Page and tap on the Settings icon in the top right-hand corner. If the functionality has been activated on your account, scroll down to the bottom and tap the Add Account button.
You will be then taken to the Instagram login page and this is where you input the login details of your second account. You will be taken to the profile page of your second account, and here you should be able to browse your feed, like and comment on posts as that user.
You will notice that the profile icon is now replaced by the icon of the account you are currently logged into. To switch accounts, simply head to your profile page, tap the account name at the top of the app and select the account you’d like to switch to. Note that you will receive notifications from all logged in users, with Instagram displaying the username of the account in brackets at the front of each notification for extra clarity.
